Triple Layered Khimar
A khimar (خمار) is a type of Islamic headscarf or veil worn by some Muslim women. It covers the head, neck, and shoulders, often reaching down to the waist or chest.
The khimar:
1. Covers the hair and neck for modesty.
2. Is typically worn outside the home or in prayer.
3. Comes in various styles, fabrics, and colors.
4. May be worn with a face veil (niqab) or without.
In Islamic tradition, the khimar is mentioned in the Quran (Surah An-Nur, 24:31) as a symbol of modesty and piety.
