The Undercover Sisters

Mirror Work

Mirror work or Shisha ka kaam is the art of stitching mirrors on to the fabric.

Renowned the world over for its striking style and beauty and said to be originally from Persia, this craft is seeped deeply into the Rajasthani & Balochi cultural heritage. According to folk-lore, mirror embroidery originated in 13th century Persia and came to India with the Mughals.

We've combined the timeless elegance of Nida Fabric in Dark rich Hues and the exquisite details of this ancient Embroidery to curate this stunning Ensemble. The striking contrast of the mirrors reflecting light off of the richness of This dark Plum Nida come together to form this beautiful piece.
